Sebastián Ceria (Buenos Aires, 1965) is an Argentine mathematician and philanthropist, president of Fundar. He is the former CEO of Qontigo, a company that combines financial risk management and control tools from Axioma, which he founded in 1998, with the STOXX and DAX financial indices. Previously, he was an associate professor at Columbia Business School, specialising in optimisation algorithms. Sebastian is a member of the US National Academy of Engineering and a recipient of the Career Award for academic and applied research. He holds a PhD in Operations Research from Carnegie Mellon University and a degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Buenos Aires. In 2022 he was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Faculty of Exact Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires. He is currently the maximum shareholder of Real Racing Club, a member of its Board of Directors and President of the Real Racing Club Foundation.
