Paola Bergallo holds a JD from Stanford University and an LLM from Columbia University. She has received grants from the Fulbright Foundation, the Norwegian Research Council, and Harvard University. She is an associate professor at Torcuato Di Tella University and an adjunct researcher with Argentina’s National Scientific and Technical Research Council (Conicet). She has taught at various universities in Europe and the Americas and has led research projects for organizations that include the United Nations Population Fund, the Pan American Health Organization, and the World Bank’s Nordic Fund. She oversees the Law & Politics Collection at Siglo XXI Editores publishing house, and her work has been published in Spanish and English. She has partnered with public institutions such as Argentina’s Ministry of Health and the Women’s Office at the Supreme Court of Justice and civil society organizations such as the Center for the Study of State and Society (CEDES) and Chequeado.com. Her research areas include gender, health, the environment, and the relationship between law and public policy.
