Laura Poverene

Laura Poverene holds a PhD in Community Mental Health from the National University of Lanús, a specialist and Master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Social Problems and a BA in Psychology from the University of Buenos Aires. She received grants from UBACyT and CONICET for her postgraduate studies.
She worked as a teacher and researcher at the university level (UBA/UNLa) and in mental health care. She has also conducted consultancies and training for civil society organisations.
Her academic research focuses on issues related to mental health, diversity, childhood, migration and human rights.
