Agustina Bendersky

Agustina Bendersky has a degree in Sociology from the University of Buenos Aires and a Master’s degree in Gender, Society and Politics from FLACSO. She completed her master’s degree in design and management of social programmes also at FLACSO. She served as director of management of the National Plan of Action on Human Rights in the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of the Nation and as advisor in the Ministry of Women, Gender and Diversity of the Nation. She was a consultant specialising in gender and human rights for United Nations agencies and civil society organisations. Her professional career includes the design, management and evaluation of policies and programmes from a human rights and gender perspective in the public and private sector. Her academic research focuses on the analysis of state capacities to address cases of gender-based violence at the sub-national level.
