Malena Galuccio holds a BA in international development from King’s College London and is currently pursuing a postgraduate diploma in environmental conflicts and participatory planning at the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO). Her thesis focused on the socio-environmental conflict around nonconventional hydrocarbon extraction at Vaca Muerta in Argentina and analyzed relations between indigenous communities, the state, and corporations. She is interested in exploring environmental conservation and gender studies from an anthropological perspective.
