Martina Lassalle holds a PhD in Social Sciences and a Bachelor’s in Sociology from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). She teaches Sociology at the UBA and at the Buenos Aires Police University Institute. She took part in several research projects at the Gino Germani Research Institute (UBA) and was a visiting researcher at universities in Germany, the Netherlands, Mexico and Brazil. She received scholarships from the University of Buenos Aires, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Coimbra Group and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) in Canada. Her research interests include the judicial system, security and violence.
