Maia Persico holds a BA in Communication and an MRes in Design. Her professional background combines process design, content development, and the implementation of programs within institutional settings. Between 2009 and 2022, she worked in the cultural sector at organizations such as Fundación Proa, the Argentine Senate, and in museum development projects in Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico. At Fundación TyPA (2015–2022), she led the development of content and methodologies for training programs aimed at strengthening the public role and social engagement of museums.
