María Belén Dias Lourenco holds a BA in international studies and is currently pursuing an MA in applied economics at Torcuato Di Tella University. As an undergraduate, she took part in an exchange program at the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po). Her thesis analyzed the fragmentation of financial architecture in South America based on a study of the development banks that finance countries in the region. She was part of the external staff for the World Economic Forum and has volunteered at the Argentinian Council for International Relations (CARI). Before joining Fundar, she worked at the French Development Agency (AFD). Her areas of interest include political economy and development.
