{"id":193,"count":5,"description":"When deciding where to specialise in an economy, data can be the path, and economic complexity can be the compass. This methodology allows us to use the data we have on the different productive activities already operating in an economy to build a concrete proposal for future growth with the inclusion of other more complex activities. It functions as a tool to discover the sectors with the greatest potential and thus design evidence-based public policies.\r\n\r\nThe Economic Complexity perspective assesses the knowledge and productive capacity in a country, province or region through the diversity of its productive activities and the number of jurisdictions capable of producing them. In this way, it makes it possible to identify which goods or services it is feasible and strategic for that economy to boost, even considering which are far from the current productive matrix but can make a significant contribution to its development.\r\n\r\nNow, how can it be applied? This series brings together, on the one hand, a set of works of regional application in the city and province of Cordoba that analyse the productive potential of these two districts. It also brings together a national study based on quantitative evidence to determine which areas Argentina has green competitive potential.
