For us, innovation means tackling the country’s challenges from a big-picture perspective and offering solutions that are not only practical but also rigorously proven. Our ultimate goal is to ensure these solutions help build an Argentina and Latin America where everyone can thrive: productive, sustainable, stable, forward-looking and connected \u2014 a nation defined by shared well-being.<\/p>

Our diagnosis of the challenges we are facing is not unique: macroeconomic instability, stagnant productivity, persistent poverty and inequality, and a weakened state with eroded legitimacy. Yet, our hallmark is clear: every idea and project must blend technical rigor with creativity, practical application, and real political traction. We aim to move beyond mere diagnosis to actually driving change \u2014 shifting the focus from the logic of public conversation to structural impact. Fundar was set up\u00a0 in 2020 with a conviction we still hold today: Argentina has everything it takes to secure\u00a0 inclusive and sustainable development.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

From day one, we set out to contribute to this development by designing evidence-based public policies and engineering public goods that serve both society and the State. From the start, we have worked hard to keep one foot firmly in political reality and the other in technical rigor. What was missing \u2014 and still often is \u2014 was a genuine bridge between technical expertise and politics, one that would allow the design of long-term public policies to be rooted\u00a0 in both solid evidence and the experience of countries with similar paths. Democracy must guarantee equal opportunity. Recognizing deep-seated inequalities is the first step toward repairing them and creating an inclusive society. In our view, a truly democratic Argentina requires far more than going to the polls every two years. We believe in an active society, engaged in ongoing public debate and speaking up in every possible forum. We believe in a State that builds the communication channels necessary for those voices to be heard.<\/p>

We believe in a State that answers with a productive development plan that fights stagnation and acts as a catalyst for the development of its population. If recent Latin American experience teaches us anything, it is that countries like Argentina have the potential to grow in contexts such as the current one. Argentina is poorer than it was ten years ago, not because we are more unequal, but because since 2010, GDP per capita has been the worst performer in the region.<\/p>

Today, the State\u2014and the welfare state in particular\u2014is too often cast as a kind of enemy of progress, an obstacle to progress, an enemy of full development of the people and the economy. We assume the historic task of restoring it, not as a lost relic of the past, but as a tool for the future. Building a new nation will require scaling the state capabilities to make sure they are up to the challenge.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
