She received grants from UBACyT and CONICET for her postgraduate studies.<br \/>\nShe worked as a teacher and researcher at the university level (UBA\/UNLa) and in mental health care. She has also conducted consultancies and training for civil society organisations.<br \/>\nHer academic research focuses on issues related to mental health, diversity, childhood, migration and human rights.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Laura Poverene holds a PhD in Community Mental Health from the UNLa and a Master&#8217;s degree in Child and Youth Social Issues and a degree in Psychology from the UBA.
